Description
An existing financial system to manage wealth management transactions, including transfers, withdrawals, deposits, and needed enhancements. Binary City subcontracted us to assist with this development.
Our team at CodeRiders consisted of one lead developer and one full-time software developer. One of the project managers was also assisting the project to run all the communication processes smoothly. The project ran for 12 months.
The team provided daily reports about the software enhancement progress and hold online calls whenever there was a need to show the completed work or present the report.
Challenge
Binary City is an independent technology solutions provider in Namibia. Their development history has close ties with financial institutes and major corporations. They have an ongoing contract with one of the largest wealth management companies in the country.
Binary City negotiated a large project on enhancing the existing systems of their client. As part of the agreement with the end client, CodeRiders was subcontracted to be part of the software development team on this enhancement of the existing systems project.
Solution
We provided Binary City with a full-time web developer and a lead developer. We coded the provided scope documentation and worked on the project managed by Binary City.
During the 12-month project, we created and worked on such functionalities as:
Create transaction
Transfer balance to another account
Various file type generation (XML, CSV, TXT, etc.) for sending requests to banks
Various types of bank response parsing, reports generation (web view, PDF generation, XLSX generation)
Binary City found that CodeRiders was a very efficient software development house, and were very responsive to our communication. The management team went out of their way to remain fair and open to any negotiations that needed to occur throughout the project. CodeRiders was also very happy to be obliged to all Binary City’s strict security and privacy policies that needed to be enforced on this project. CodeRiders’ management team was eager and willing to listen to Binary City’s team, especially our management team when conflicting matters arose during the project. It was a pleasure to be able to straighten out such issues on such a level. Binary City looks forward to aligning new projects with CodeRiders that we can work on together in the future.
